I was at this concert and it was great! Ashlee looked awesome and performed even better than the last tour. She has really matured as a performer and singer. Since I live only a few minutes away from the county fair it was almost like having Ashlee perform in my own backyard.

Pop singer Ashlee Simpson will be the featured performer tonight for the opening day of the DuPage County Fair.

Simpson's concert is scheduled for 8:30 p.m. at the Grandstand.

Other featured entertainment acts during the fair's five-day run includes country singer Travis Tritt on Thursday, pop singer Jesse McCartney on Friday, a rodeo on Saturday and a demolition derby on Sunday.

Gates open at 8 a.m. each day through Sunday at the DuPage County Fairgrounds on Manchester Road east of County Farm Road in Wheaton. Tickets for the infield, grandstand and bleachers for the headline entertainers cost $30.
