Jessica Simpson Left Uncomfortable By Lopez's Joke

Jessica Simpson found herself in an uncomfortable position at the People's Choice Awards on Tuesday night, when comedian George Lopez took the stage and joked about her failed marriage.
The Dukes Of Hazzard actress was making her first public appearance at the Los Angeles event since filing for divorce from Nick Lachey last month, and looked upset at Lopez's insensitive gag.
Lopez told the audience, "The producers wanted to apologize to Nick Lachey, who could not be here because they didn't need any more seat-fillers."
"Hey that makes up for The Dukes Of Hazzard."
Following the ceremony, Simpson's father Joe said, "I know he has to do what he does. But what he was talking about is obviously an uncomfortable part of our life." |

I know they are sisters. But can we avoid news that relates solely to Jessica? I come here to keep up with whats going on regarding Ashlee, not her sister, who gets plenty of coverage elsewhere.
