popYOUlarity: You have to be happy to have the record finally. Are you just relieved at that point that it's done?
Ashlee:I love being in the studio. The creative process of making a record is just so much fun!

popYOUlarity: Do you know when it's done or do other people say 'I think this is done'?
Ashlee:I always like to go back for one more song.

popYOUlarity: Can you talk about the track "Beautifully Broken"?
Ashlee:I thought it was such a cool phrase. This year I've really learned how much beauty is in imperfection.

popYOUlarity: What about the track: "I Am Me"?
Ashlee:It's simply a song to a guy in which I am expressing who I am and who I will always be.

popYOUlarity: Are there any songs that you perform that gets you choked up?
Ashlee:Everytime we play "Catch Me When I Fall."

popYOUlarity: There are a lot of expectations for the new record "I Am Me." How are you handling that?
Ashlee:I'm proud of the record. I had a wonderful time making it. So I'm not feeling nervous.

popYOUlarity: Is freedom to be whoever you want to be and to become whatever you desire the greatest thing about living, or is it something else?
Ashlee:Well, yes. That is one of the many precious gifts of life. My motto is to live each day as if it were your last. Life is too short to not have fun!

popYOUlarity: Your album is titled "I Am Me." So, At this point in your career, what do you think has made you stronger than ever?
Ashlee:I've learned to really be in tune with myself. You have to believe in yourself.

popYOUlarity: If you were completely blind, but could somehow see for one hour each week, how would you spend that time?
Ashlee:I would look at the ones I love, my family, and my dear friends.

popYOUlarity: What's your philosophy of life?
Ashlee:It is pretty close to what I was saying earlier. Live each day as if it were your last.

popYOUlarity: Under which circumstances do you find it almost impossible to hide your true feelings?
Ashlee:I'm a really honest person. I'm bad at hiding my emotions.

popYOUlarity: When people become bigger and well known, they lose their edge. How do you maintain that?
Ashlee: I don't try to have an edge. I've just always been a little quirky.

popYOUlarity: What is one character trait of yours that can be directly attributed to the way you were raised?
Ashlee: I'm a 'fly by the seat of your pants' kind of girl!

popYOUlarity: What was the most memorable occasion of you being talked into doing something that either almost killed you from boredom or physical pain?
Ashlee: Well I, just got off of a long plane ride.

popYOUlarity: If you were lost in the woods, what survival skills have you learned in life that would benefit you in this situation, and get you out alive?
Ashlee:Make the best of every situation that you are in. Sometimes there's just nothing you can do about it, so you better not give up!
